Grow through what we go through

Last year I went through the most difficult time of my life.

I had to face some of my biggest fears.

I experienced my darkest moments, I felt like I’ve hit rock bottom.

It took my darkest moment to crack me open.

Like a seed that have to be under the ground and break through its shell,

so did I had to break through my shell of negative thinking, limiting beliefs and negative ego.

I had to be cracked open to start growing, to start changing.

Like the seed that needs to break through the soil to get to the sunlight,

so did I started seeking the light in my darkest moment.

I had no other option than to grow, to grow through the soil, to get to the light.

I had to do the work. I had to grow through what I was going through.

I had to face my reality and start changing it.

I belief most of what we are experiencing on the outside, starts on the inside.

So I had to take a hard look at myself – the things I was doing, the things I was saying, the way I was thinking.

I had to look at what created this mess in the first place.

It takes courage, strength and determination to grow.

Getting through the darkness, the soil, is the hardest part.

It is the time that you can either stay a seed and never grow, and never see the light.

Or you push through the barriers, your shell, your negative ego and thinking, and break through to the other side.

Just like a seed that grows through the soil to get to the light,

so do we need to grow through what we go through and

seek the light in our darkest moments.
